Although the lake is the main attraction of this place, it also acts as a natural habitat for the endangered Himalayan species, Salamander. The lake is located at a distance of 3 km from our homestay and can be accessed by booking a local cab. With a backdrop of a beautiful lake placed amidst the lush valley, the place is a must-visit place in Latpanchar.

The orange garden with a backdrop of majestic Himalayas, misty mountains green rolling hills and pleasant climatic conditions offers a picture-perfect view of the region. Most of these orange gardens are cultivated by local farmers where tourists can relish the authentic sweet and citrusy taste of oranges.

Known for its scenic beauty the viewpoint is surrounded by vastly spread tea plantations and a lush forest area. Located at a distance of approximately 15 km our homestay the wildlife sanctuary is also popular for being home to more than 240 species of birds. Some of the popular birds that can be sighted in this region include Himalayan Bulbul, Great Hornbills, Scarlet Minivet, Blue Throated Barbet and many more.

Located at a distance of 27 km from our homestay, the place flaunts its beauty with surrounding valleys, cascading rivers, wooden bridges and glimpses of Mt Kanchenjunga. Situated at an elevation of 660 metres, the place is also popular with its morning sunrise view that offers a calm and pleasant ambience along with the picturesque valleys.
